Below is a list of questions frequently asked of A.L.A.  If your question isn’t listed, please feel free to contact us …

1. What happens after I send my application and cv?

Our HR Department, will review all candidates to identify individuals whose qualifications and experiences most closely apply with a job’s specifications.

As we normally receive many applications for each vacancy, please allow up to one month before we can provide you with an update on your application.  We appreciate your patience during this period.

If your application is successful you will be contacted by a member of our recruitment team, who will talk you through the next steps.

If you are not selected to advance through this process for the specific job in which you expressed interest, you may still be contacted about other opportunities.  Otherwise, we will write to you thanking you for your application and requesting if we can reserve your CV on file for future reference.

2. What happens after I’m contacted by an A.L.A. recruiter about advancing to the next stage?

You can expect our HR department to call you for a brief telephone interview.

If you are then selected to advance further, you will be asked to attend an interview with our directors. These interviews may take place on one or more days.  If you are not currently based in Cyprus your first interview will be conducted by telephone.

3. What happens after I complete the interview process?

A recruiter will contact you by telephone after your interview to let you know if you will be invited to discuss the position further.  Please allow one to two weeks for this communication.

If you receive an offer of a position at A.L.A, we will also provide you with a reasonable amount of time for you to consider the offer.

If you are not selected for a position at this stage, we will contact you to inform you, and request permission to retain your application and CV on file for future reference.
