The University of Central Lancashire’s (UCLan) Cyprus Campus has been voted the ‘Most InAVative Education Facility’ at the prestigious Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) InAVation Awards in Amsterdam.

For the past two months the University of Central Lancashire, Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus) has been welcoming English speaking students to a new, €50m campus, offering not only premium British higher education but also a technological breakthrough in the way in which they can engage with the digital teaching methods.
Christie has confirmed at ISE 2011 in Amsterdam last week it has sold 170 MicroTiles for installation in Malta International Airport. The order, placed with Christie’s Cyprus distributors, ALA Equipment, by Michael Kyriakides of International Airport Advertising Corporation (IAAC), follows the concession won by IAAC and its strategic partner, Clear Channel Airports (CCA), to take over the advertising programme on the MIA premises for the next 12 years.
Last week’s Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) exhibition saw the confirmation of the biggest ever sale of Christie’s MicroTiles digital signage product, it has been revealed.
Malta International Airport, through International Airport Advertising Corporation (IAAC), has purchased 170 MicroTiles from Christie’s Cyprus distributors ALA Equipment. With its partner, Clear Channel Airports, IAAC has won a concession to take over the advertising programme on the MIA premises for the next 12 years.
ALA will undertake all equipment supply, installation and technical support. ALA’s director, Andrea Piemonti, stated, “It is a pleasure to be able to close such a prestigious contract with Michael Kyriakides and a reward for the efforts we have made to establish the Christie brand, and its high end products, since taking on the distributorship three years ago.”
One year after the EMEA launch of Christie MicroTiles at last ISE, these stackable digital display tiles have been named Most InAVative Digital Signage Product in the award ceremony at ISE 2011.
